Headlines

Welcome back everyone and I hope that you had a lovely break, enjoying time together with family and friends.

At the end of last term we raised an impressive £2,595 for our chosen charities, Herts for Refugees and Unicef, on Charity Day. Thank you to all involved for making this such a fun end of term for our students.

We start the Spring Term in our usual fashion with Year 11 receiving their mock GCSE and BTEC results on Monday and then having individual interviews later on in the term with senior staff to consider their next steps in education. Next Tuesday evening, we are holding our Into the Sixth Evening designed to provide all the information needed for young people to decide whether joining the Sixth Form at Sandringham is the right thing for them. As you know, the school is incredibly popular both with our own Year 11 students and those from other schools. The outstanding A-level results last year mean we are likely to be even more popular than ever and we anticipate large numbers coming along to view the school.

Year 13 also begin their mock examinations next week. They have been preparing hard so we wish them the best of luck with these.

This first half term is relatively short and ends with the annual Dance spectacular, ‘Velocity’ and the two-day staff conference. Velocity takes place from the 2nd to 4th February and you can buy tickets here. During half term break, there are some key international trips; Vietnam, Canada and The Gambia to look forward to. Plenty going on as always. We look forward to reporting more on these events as they take place.

With best wishes,

Mr A Gray
Headteacher

Students (and parents) are able to add themselves to clubs and see the opportunities available as well and once selected, these choices will show on the students' weekly timetable. Students are rewarded with house points for their participation. Below are the logins. We look forward to another busy term of extra curricular activity.
